What it does
The Samsara integration syncs telematics and ELD data into Diesel, including the locations, drivers, trucks, trailers, and forms your team uses to manage operations.
Syncs are controlled by toggles in each user’s Samsara settings. Diesel processes Samsara webhooks, displays live location and alert information, and lets you message drivers through Samsara.
How it works

Authorize Samsara
Go to Account Settings → Integrations → Samsara and authorize with OAuth at /samsara/auth.

Choose what to sync
Use your Samsara settings toggles to enable the data you want to sync into Diesel.

Sync fleet data
Samsara addresses become locations, drivers sync as drivers, vehicles sync as trucks with IFTA jurisdiction and vehicle mileage, and trailers sync as trailers.

Sync forms and live data
Sync form templates and submissions, live location and stat types, speed levels, and enabled alerts into Diesel.

Work from Diesel
Samsara webhooks are processed into Diesel, and you can send messages to drivers via Samsara from the TMS.
